300 000 har mistet jobben i løpet av april. Det samme skjedde i mars. Med nesten 600 000 nye arbeidsledige på bare to måneder er det nå 3,9 millioner arbeidsledige personer i Spania. I tillegg er de 3,3 millioner arbeidstakerne som ble midlertidig permittert langt fra sikre på at arbeidsplassen deres vil overleve krisen. Alle næringer over hele landet har problemer – det gjelder også Málaga-provinsen. Med nesten 40 000 nye ledige i mars og april inkluderer provinsens totale arbeidsledighet 192 000 personer. Det er 46 000 (31 prosent) flere enn i fjor.
