Går alt som ventet, vil det spanske helsevesenet ha en vaksine klar mot den fryktede Covid-19 viruset i andre kvartal av 2021. Og det blir, vel å merke, i så store mengder at hele befolkningen kan få vaksinen. Så klare er ordene til den spanske helseministeren, Salvador Illa, som naturligvis tilføyer at vaksinen både kan bli litt forsinket og komme før forventet. Salvador Illa understreker at det inntil den tid er befolkningens ansvar å lære seg å leve med viruset og ta de nødvendige forbehold. Helseministeren har forklart at spanske laboratorier er veldig langt fremme i forskningen takket være egen kapasitet og det internasjonale samarbeidet i utviklingen av en vaksine mot Covid-19.
